While we was creating our music magazine we was asked to also create a questionnaire asking people what they thought of the magazine, I think we had to create 20 questionnaires then we had to put them into edexcel and make them into pie or bar charts

Our main task for our coursework in media was to create a music magazine in both photoshop and indesign. We had to fristly create drafts of the magazine for both the front cover and doublepage spread then put the final peice together.
Overall it was a very long process in which we had to take pictures for the magazine, plan out how we wanted it to look like and decide if our originol plan was the one we wante dto keep.
I took pictures of my friends Taylor and Danny to pose as a band, I used my cellar as a set to take these pictures I also used my garden and various other places. My main image was just of Taylor and I used this image for the front cover of my magazine, I used several other pictures of both Taylor and Danny together for the double page sprad and I only used one main image of them for the contents page, I also used an image of 'Kings Of Leon' for the contents page. However pictures wernt enough to cover up the whole page for both the contents and double page spread so I used a paint splash that I found on the internet, I then adjusted it on photoshop to fill up the gaps on the background, this paint splash ironically worked really well as it matched the colours that they are both wearing which i didnt plan so it worked out really well for me and blended in really good.
I thouroghly enjoyed this task it was anew and different experience taking actual photos for a magazine and I am really pleased with the final result of my complete magazine.

This lesson we began creating our school front covers. I created it in photoshop using a majority of tools. We took our pictures before creating the magazine in preparation for it so we already had these to start our cover. The main image is a young girl from the lower school working in class i then added a masthead on the top in blue with a drop shadow for effect i also added several cover lines in blue an yellow as this fitted in with the image of the girl. I will soon be posting up my cover for you all to see.

Recently in media we have completed a double page sprad analysis, a six picture sequence of photos a mindmap and two analysis of front covers on a magazine. Our six pic sequence was a practice run through of taking pictures for out school preliminary task and music mag task .
